abaci is a data and automation consultancy. We help organisations build operations they can trust - from the records and reporting to the processes the rest of the business depends on.

Many organisations do not suffer from a shortage of software. The problem is often what happens between systems - the exports, duplication, spreadsheets and manual workarounds holding everything together. We close those gaps by automating the work between them and building what is missing when nothing suitable exists.

Since our founding in 2021, we have worked with more than 20 clients across seven jurisdictions, from small teams to regulated enterprises in financial services, fund services, professional services and field operations. Our work spans reporting, business intelligence, migrations, automation and custom systems, delivered through the technology a client already uses or through solutions of our own.

The difficult part of changing a business is rarely the technology alone. It is understanding how the organisation works well enough to improve it without disrupting what already works. That is why every engagement starts with the process, not the product.

The same challenges have appeared repeatedly across that work, and the lessons have shaped a platform of our own. It provides a common foundation for data, automation and operational systems, built around the principle that information captured once should remain governed, consistent and trusted wherever it is used.
